NEWS ON PROJECT: REBIRTH
Well, I am sad to say that my car is still not on the road, but that
is just because I cannot afford to finish it right now. However, it is
mere weeks from being done. The glass needs to be installed [because the
windshield was broken in the Stealth I bought for the frame], and the pins to
the hood need to be remounted. Then, it's hitting the paint. I am
even going to paint the carbon fiber hood. Nothing against those who like
the look of raw carbon fiber, I am not that crazy about it on a silver
car. When the car was black, the carbon fiber was subtle, and it looked
good. Now, not so much. I am also ordering the carbon fiber
replacement sunroof from 3SX, and painting it to match as well. Function
and style.
I have spent some time mocking up a general style
of what the car will look like. The wheels are even similar to the
ones I bought. Here
is one of the better images I
made. Remember, the lower half of the car will look different,
because I am transferring my JDM Bommer Style Body Kit to the new
unibody shell. I chopped a picture I found online, and this
is kinda what it'll look like from the front.
